I have been growing my tomato plant since 4 months now, from the whole tomato(slices) potted into the potting mix. It is growing bushy and healthy but it didn’t start to flower yet. Could you please suggest what can be done. Thank you

Hi Priya, I would personally let time do its thing and you should definitely look into slow release fertilizers as well as all purpose plant food those really provide the nutrients plants need to grow nice and big. I would also make sure it’s getting just as much sun and light as it needs not more and not less and ofcourse make sure to take care of it during the hotter days you can try spraying it with the mist setting so it remains humid and doesn’t dry out ☺️

1 LikeSometimes some fertilizers inhibit flowering. I was fertilizing my pumpkin plant regularly and kept getting new leaves and not getting flowers. I needed to switch up the fertilizer and pinch off the new leaves to stimulate flowering.

0 LikesDepending on the tomato type and how it grows, you may need to prune it so it focuses on flowering rather than new green growth. If you know what kind of tomato it was, I suggest looking it up and seeing the best way to prune them.
