There are a few brown tips on my spider plant, but I also noticed a few of these that look semi-cut. Did I do that by accident?! Or is this a pest?

brown tips like this are just par for the course with spider plants — it’s not you, it’s her lol. your cuts look mechanical, straight lines, no pests. your plant looks very healthy to me!

1 likeyes my spider plant also has brown tips it’s pretty inevitable with them, you could try switching to distilled or rain water also to help with the brown tips
1 likeYou can add a drop of “Tap water Conditioner” to your watering can. It is used in aquariums to remove chlorine, fluoride & other minerals for the health of fish. I got mine on Amazon. Spider Plants hate lime found in tap water. Or you could use rain water or buy distilled water as previously suggested.
