Hi, I was just watering and misting my Peace Lily and noticed this... It looks like a stem has split and revealing this white underneath! Can anyone tell me what is happening and why this could be happening please? Could this be a spathe emerging? It's never flowered since I've had it.
Looks a bloom emerging from the sheaths rather than a stem splitting.

I'm pleased to say she ended up giving me 3 flowers in total, the original flower has been and gone but I now have these 2 beauties 😍
