Is this rubber plant ready to pot? Thanks for any advice
If you put it in a really tiny pot! Pots should be no bigger than 1-2 inches larger than the root ball
4 Me gustaI've had it for a few weeks and the roots haven't grown much so I thought if I plant it it might do better. I have some 1" 1/2 pots that I was thinking of using
2 Me gustaIf it’s not growing it needs food! I add liquid fertilizer and silica to my propagations potting it should help
1 me gustaSorry to hijack , do you add silica to water props as well?
1 me gustaYes! It helps all plants but especially variegated ones
2 Me gustaThat ok to hijack that way we both learn. 🙃
0 Me gustaRubber plants aren’t too picky! I’ve grown several plants from rubber plant props, and you have plenty of roots for potting it! I’ve even grown from a north facing window, and it has several new leaves!
