Hi, just wondering if I have cut this orchid correctly? A new branch is growing but not sure about the main stem. Thank you

    Looks like you did fine. You’ve got a nice secondary spike there! The main spike will not grow anymore.

    In the future, cut the main stem at an angle and in between one closed node and one open node.
