I have a lovely spider plant, but what do you guys do with all the spiderets???? I have too many and don’t need more spider plants haha

    Me over here🔎👁watching🙏🤞🤞patiently waiting⏱️Never got a spiderette yet😭😭😭 on the flip side i feel the same way about the 700 purple hearts i now have😒🙄😆😆

    Give them away. My mother plant made me 2 more. She then gave other people 2 more lol. I don’t need any more babies. 😉

    Usually I will pot them in small nursery containers so they establish roots. Once they are healthy / a bit bigger, I’ll usually just give them away for free. Lots of people are intrigued by keeping plants but don’t often buy them themselves. Ask around - co workers, friends, family. Say hey I have this free plant that’s easy to care for

    Do you have cats? I grow spider plant babies in gravel & water & call them cat treats. 😸 Spider plants are pet safe, but do have a mildly hallucinogenic effect. That’s why cats like to chew on them so much. 🤪
