    I have a combination of both. It’s so hard to choose because some decorative are actually cute lol

    Sorry but I say it depends on the plant. For almost all young plants, I use terracotta. Peperomia are usually in terracotta. And contrary to what people will say, I keep several of my begonias in terracotta. They do very well in them. And many of my terracotta are the D’Vinci brand cylinder planters. So not the traditional clay pot.
