Your first step will probably be to do a repot to check on the roots and make sure the planter is the right size for the root ball. I like plastic pots with drainage holes for peace lilies personally. Make sure it’s in well draining soil (can just be normal potting mix with extra perlite mixed in) and that the pot is only 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball itself. It will be happiest by an East-facing window, but a North-facing window may also be good if it’s unobstructed. Grow lights will help if you don’t have enough natural light; I like to use a light meter app on my phone to make sure it’s getting somewhere between 250-500 (or more) foot candles. Avoid direct light from south or west facing windows as this will scorch the plant. Water when the soil is 25-50% dry; don’t let it dry out too much but you also want the soil to dry out a little bit in between waterings to avoid root rot. Good luck with your new plant!

I use a fertilizer especially for peace lilies. My two do well on it.

I use Dyna Gro Foliage Pro aka Superthrive. That or any balanced npk ratio fertilizer should work well.
