I have had a continual battle with black spot, and have been using a neem oil spray, and on occasion, a copper fungicide, to treat these diseases. Recently, I’ve heard that neem is not a great treatment as a fungicide; I am hearing that copper fungicide is only a little better. I know there are other stronger fungicides out there, but I can’t find one that’s safe to use in the home with pets and children. Can anybody recommend a sure fire method to get rid of this darn fungus? TIA. 🤗💚🪴

Neem is pretty trash for fungal. You can use the copper, just be consistent every 3 days, and cut off any affected leaves. The big issue with rust and spots is that they constantly reinfect from the leaves falling around the base. Also make sure to sanitize your shears, wash your hands. SnS I belive has a pet/child safe fungicide... mmm 244? I know their systemic is. Also Arber and I think Growsafe (the fungicide/pesticide i use on TC) are too

Wolfen… I’m very interested in what you’re saying, and always find what you do say very useful! I think the end of your post was cut off, and I would like to know what you were going to say. TIA…

This comment may appear stupid, but what is TC? TIA…!

So, do you think the Arber fungicide would be my best choice? TIA, as usual!

TC is Tissue Culture. I just started using the Arber pesticide, and have been pretty happy with it, so think it's a good bet, and Alyssa says it's pet/kid safe.

I second the Arber fungicide, it’s safe and I’ve seen quite a few people on here suggest it as well and say it was the only thing that worked. Have you tried watering in some peroxide?
