Hi this is a basic heartleaf philodendron that ive owned for a little over a year. I repotted it last weekend and its not adapting to its new pot very well. Its not underwatered because i gave it a good soak when i repotted it and its not overwatered because ive only watered it once. I should also mention that the pot size and soil are almost exactly the same and its sitting on the same window it always has. All of the leaves are curling and the ones as the base are yellowing. I am currently propagating it but would like to preserve the original plant, any tips? Thanks!!! (I would also like to mention that im very skilled with plants because i work part time at a plant store but am unable to own very many because of my schedule. So ill be able to understand a majority of suggestions)

First I would give it more time to recuperate from the transplant. Second where do you live? Is it cold in that window?

I live somewhere where its very cold for a majority of the year but it has sat on this window for around a year and ive not had any issues up until now

Maybe some Roots stimulator would help the next time you water.

I put multiple kinds of fertilizer in with it when i repotted it and i don’t currently own any root hormones but i can look into it

Could it have been too much fertilizer?

Even if it’s used to that window, it could be very stressed from repotting and can’t handle the extra stress of being close to the cold window.

Repotted plants will go into shock for 1-3 months, losing leaves etc. it should go back to normal with some patience… unless there is something more going on. But post-repotting is definitely a waiting game.
