I’m thinking about moving my plants from the window to the other side of my desk (left site to right). The window gets great natural light when it is sunny, but it’s winter, and it’s a bit drafty, like the pots and leaves feel cold. Which would be better, drafty with more natural light or minimal direct sun but warmer (the grow light would move with them).

I’d definitely move it away from the drafty window, plants hate cold drafts and if it has a grow light it’ll be as happy as a clam

I agree I think they will tolerate the move for the winter you can always move them back when the weather warms up.

Cold drafts can impact the plants. Definitely, move them. Place the grow lights 1 foot or closer to the plant to be effective. Light intensity drops off exponentially the further away from the source. See the photo. The blue lines represent the 1 foot mark. The lights need to run 12 hours especially for the plants further away from the window. 🪴🍀
