RIP Barry! The same thing happened to my peperomia but I managed to save a bit of stem to try and propagate
0 Me gustaI attempted to save him by that but I think I did it wrong since he was black and squishy when I checked on him, and there was no water in the cup
0 Me gustaPerhaps there could be a Barry 2 in the future?
0 Me gustaMaybe!
0 Me gustaaww I killed one of these once too 🫢😎
0 Me gustaI’m so sorry to hear that! RIP Barry 😢 (really great plant name, btw)
0 Me gustaThank you!
0 Me gustaI know the caperata variety of peperomia can be a bit trickier than the other types of peperomia. If you wanna try again with one, perhaps an obtusifolia or clusiifolia would be a bit hardier. They’re more succulent like in the leaves, so if you’re good with succulents and plants that enjoy completely drying out, you could try one of those! Really sorry about Barry. I really liked seeing the posts you made with him 😥
0 Me gustaaww im sorry :(( RIP
0 Me gustaRIP Barry :(
