Hi there! I just got this String of Pearls from a nearby plant store (Watson’s, if you know it) and am wondering if there’s anything I should be doing. Can y’all share some tips for growing and taking care of this small String of Pearls? Thanks in advance! :)

Lots of light. Water when soil is 100% dry, the pearls are slightly squishy, and their “window” is slightly indented/puckered (the small slit on each on). The window being indented is less important than totally dry and slightly squishy when it comes to your signs. They have a delicate root system, so if you can mostly bottom water, with an occasional top watering to flush the soil, is best.

Right here 😆 so far whats worked for me is an east window, and I water when the soil is totally dry, maybe wait a few days after it has completely dried out. I don't usually feel the pearls to tell when to water but I have a friend that says she does. I fertilize every two weeks during the growing season, now that its winter I fertilize every six weeks but I don't dilute my fertilizer quite as much as some people who fertilize at every watering. So if you would normally do that then I would think thats fine. I don't think you should mist it or put it in a super humid spot either, cuz they are succulents, but mine is right beside plants that I mist everyday so it pry gets misted a bit too. Also when I got mine I repotted into a pot that was just barely bigger than the nursery pot. I didn't use a cactus or succulent soil. Just added bark to a regular potting mix but you could pry use cactus or succulent. I haven't ever bottom watered mine but it might be a good idea. .
