i’m struggling a bit to find a good spot for my pink princess philodendron… i currently have her in a east/morning sun window but she looks less than happy/droopy and i can’t tell if she’s droopy bc she hates the spot or bc she was just repotted about a week ago?

Was she in less or more light before?

the plant was in trader joe’s 🥲 LOL. this window was my first and only choice since i purchased, so i think it had more light just because they had the overhead lights on all day and were near the front door

It’s probably the repot. What potting mix did you switch her to?

a chunky mix of fox farm potting soil, perlite and orchid bark about equal parts of each

She’ll love that. Tbh she probably spent a while in a dark truck in transit and then a day or two in TJs before getting to you, so it’s understandable that she’s stressed.

I have my new Pink Princess out on my balcony. My husband saved her for me from Lowe’s and she was not happy at all. She was soaked and suffocating.m, but her roots were surprisingly healthy. I put her outside since it’s nice out. The way my place is set up my building faces South and my balcony is partly shaded. Depending on where the sun moves throughout the day I keep her in the shade when it’s not too hot outside but with an open clear view of the sky. When it’s not as hot I let her get a few hours of sun. She now is giving me 2 new babies.

Mine gets droopy sometimes too and for me it’s that she’s thirsty. She may be stressed from the report.
