My spider plants lost their luster… thanks to my cat. I mean, they’re still healthy with their vibrant green, if you look past the half eaten leaves and whittled ends. My question is will these eaten parts grow back or will these forever be stubbed leaves?

It’s definitely difficult 😂 He was verbally scolded but back in my lap 2 minutes later.

Forever stubs. My cats have mowed down my parlor palm to near-grass. I just bought a wire cage to put around the fronds to keep them away from danger.

Kitty looks guilty as charged! My cat just snuck in and chewed mine up. I just cut the whole thing back

I have spider plants specifically for my cats, now. It's not a remotely fair fight; there are FOUR of them!!

I’ve heard that spider plants create a hallucinogenic effect for cats which is why they love to eat them 😅

This is my spider plant eater 😭 try some bitter apple spray from the pet store on the leaves. I’ve been doing this for a while and havnt noticed anything bad. she stops eating the leaves for a while, Just gotta respray if every now and then!
