What is wrong with my red sword? She’s been fine, perky, looking great. I was checking plants today and I found her all droopy like this. I pulled her out of the pot and she’s not root bound. She’s got plenty of space left to grow and her roots look fine. She does have two leaves that have a funny scale like mark; anybody recognize it? She was watered yesterday, but she was dry, so that can’t be the problem. Is it something to do with those funny spots? HELP?😂 PS I would like to take a second picture, but I don’t know how to do it. TXS.

It might be humidity; you could put a humidifier nearby or mist your plant. Hope this helps and hope it gets better!!

TXS! I keep a humidifier on and that part of the house stays in the upper 30%. I’ll try putting her right by the humidifier and see if that does anything.🤔

She was diagnosed with a fungus… I returned her to the store I bought her from as I was afraid she would infect all my other plants, which would be a nightmare! 😩 It made me very sad BUT, I bought two new and very beautiful plant babies that I am really excited about. I guess that’s making lemonade out of lemons!😉
