are these white spots normal for my Jade plant? they have been on it since it was in a nursery pot. it seems to be thriving, but i'm just curious if this is some sort of pest.

    the dead leaves that fall off also have a metallic like sheen on them. which makes me think there's something wrong with the plant

    It’s just mineral build up being pushed out. It’s on their leaves because that’s where they store their water. They prefer mineral free water. You can just wipe it off.

    I wonder if a leaf shine spray would help something like this ?

      You definitely don’t want to use leaf shine on a jade plant!
