Why did those new leaves on this bird of paradise plant come out broken like this? ☹️

    Sometimes this happens to mine if they get stuck in the stem on their way out, I haven’t quite figured out the best way to stop it but you’re not alone!

    Sometimes the air is too dry and misting often helps it unfurl easier by adding moisture.

      So like spray the leaves every now and then?

      Yes, mist to add moisture if you see it stuck and can’t unfurl. Sometimes the tip gets stuck while the base keeps growing out causing the leaf to tear near the tip.

    Thats what i do, and if i notice a leaf is stuck ill take a paper towel, soak it and wring it out and then verrrry gently wrap it around for a few mins to get it going
