Im new to plants... I have a spider plant, a money plant, a goldfish plant and a mezoo. I fear I over watered them... my spider plant has some long leaves that are dropping and mt money plant is dropping. Do I just leave them alone until they dry out or should I get new dirt? They're damp to touch not sopping.

Let the dirt dry out and allow the plant to get more sun if they aren’t both getting 6+ hours of sunlight a day. Afterwards, definitely add some perlite or something similar for more aeration if it’s not drying up fast enough in its original spot

Thank you! I keep hyperfixating on them as if theyre my dog that just threw up randomly. When I actually just need to leave them alone.

Best early plant parent tip for me was that an UNDERWATERED plant is easier to save than an OVERWATERED plant. Get a water meter OR just buy some cheap wooden skewers (the kind for kabobs) and use that to tell you if your plant needs water. As a CHRONIC overwaterer when I started, those tools helped me to not water until my plants were almost all the way dry. Once dry - soak them thru until water comes out the bottom. Also, just use nursery pots (clear are best) and put them inside pretty cache pots. It’s so much easier!!!!

Insert a tampon in the soil. It will take all the excess water out more quickly.
