Friendly Advice: you don’t need a water meter for your plants. Save some money and use your FINGERS. They are your water meters. Stick your finger in the soil and see how dry or moist the soil is. Easy and free. 🌱

The only water meter I’ve ever found to be worth using is a piece of glass with a string in it that wicks water from the soil into the top to show hydration, even then, it came free with an airplant (don’t know why, airplants don’t use soil) and I still double check it with my fingers.
2 J'aimeLove a free useful gift. I think out of all the different water meters, I like the glass and string best
3 J'aimeI’ve never heard of this I will have to go look it up. 😊
1 j'aimeI’ve seen them for sale on their own at Lowe’s as well, they’re pretty cheap
1 j'aimeMy finger doesn’t work lol - I use the chopstick method.
5 J'aimeI use chopsticks
4 J'aimeLol that's a great method too! And a multi use tool! I use chopsticks to help stable my plants in their terrarium 😆
3 J'aimeSimilar here, toothpicks never let me down!
1 j'aimeI ended up getting metal chopsticks. Work the same, but reusable forever. So they have been worth the small investment
