What would you do? My braided hibiscus tree is doing great but these babies popped up. Per the app they are identified as hibiscus plants, I guess when her blooms fell some of the seeds planted? My question is should I remove them or leave them alone??

these are definitely not hibiscus plants. these are probably from seeds carried by wind, most likely weeds. this looks like nutsedge to me, which are aggressively invasive and they need to be removed or they'll overcrowd the pot and probably kill your hibiscus over time.

Now that I’m looking at them more they do look like weeds lol

whatever they are they're NOT hibiscus LOOL, hibiscus only come in shrub form and will only ever look like that tree OP has. if it is nutsedge, they should not be pulled and need to be treated chemically instead. pulling them leaves behind rhizomes and will only make ten new plants pop up. super annoying 🙄 they're everywhere in FL and i hate seeing them all the time

it's definitely possible it's corn. either way they need to come out so 🤷‍♂️ now you have free corn stalks? 😂

I think seeds from my bird feeder may have blown their way over. 🤦🏻‍♀️
