Hey there!! I just invested in a Thai Constellation Monstera about a week ago. I think it should be time for me to repot into a clear pot with a climbing post. I also have a spot on one of the leaves- if anyone knows the cause or how to avoid this in the future please let me know!! Any soil and climber recommendations for this guy would be greatly appreciated!!

My guess would be low humidity caused the spot. I put mine in my bedroom with a humidifier and keep it around 70%.

So that would be my thought but I actually just had an issue where it was TOO humid- didn’t even think that could be an issue with tropical plants haha

I’ve been told supplementing with silica will help stop brown spots from forming on variegated plants. I got this from Amazon. Just started using it a week ago, so can’t report on results yet.
