hi friends! i might be moving to a different state soon, one with much drier humidity from where i am now and i’m very worried about the process of moving my plants and baby sprouts, what are some things i should know and/or try to prevent when moving plants?

Is it going to be a long drive? For dry air sensitive plants, you can gently cover the leaves with a plastic shopping bag and tie the handles around the pot. I also like to put my plants into plastic tote bins so I can carry multiple at once, avoid breaking stems, and catch soil spills

I’ve seen people put polyester fill on top of the soil and tape it down to the pot to prevent soil from spilling out.

Make them the last items you pack and the first boxes you unpack. Pack them like you are sending them by mail with sufficient packing supplies to prevent abrasions, bouncing pots, water drainage and spilled soil. Add heat packs if needed. They stay warm for days. Good luck🍀🪴
