Help!!! I seem to have little gnats that hang around my plant soil. The humidity level in my apartment tends to keep my soils damp which I haven’t been able to control. Is there a trick to get rid of the gnats that hang around? They aren’t in abundance and they don’t bother me, I just don’t want it to be bothersome to others when I have people over. Any tips, cures or remedies?

Sticky traps to put in the soil! Also, watering with mosquito dunks will also help to kill the larvae in the soil (as the sticky traps won’t help with that)

Agree! I use mosquito bits pretty much every time I water now because they just keep resurging 🙃

Sticky traps to kill adults and pesticides(of your choice) on the soil to kill the larvae. This photo was taken as soon as I put one sticky trap! They are drawn to bright yellow so choose the yellow one🥹

When the first few come in around this time of year, I put rubbing alcohol in a tiny spray bottle and spray just alitttleee on the dirt of plants where the gnats hang out. It kills the eggs on the soil. Little because too much to destroy the nutrients in the soil, but it works.
