Help! My mom has been taking care of this plant since 2020. Each app we use comes up with a different answer. Post below what you think it is! Let me know you think whether the end of the runner will flower?

    Not entirely sure, but it appears to be some sort of hoya. However, I can’t determine the specific species. Perhaps it’s carnosa? If it is a hoya, unfortunately, that runner won’t flower. Hoyas typically shoot out those vines in search of a suitable climbing surface. Once the vine feels secure, it will then begin growing the leaves. Hoyas flower on peduncles, similar to what I’ve shown in my picture. They will continue producing flowers on that peduncle even after the previous flowers have faded.
