The app is scheduling 28 of my plants to be repotted in about 2 weeks. This gives me just enough time to order and buy needed materials for the job. Given I will need different types of soil, the room and time to repot so many, this is a big task. Does anyone have any tips ( or a link) on a good strategy or plan that could help? Anything is appreciated.

Do you know what soils/mixed you Want to get and use? what type of plants do you own? When i repot alot of plants i Usually Do the Biggest to smallest! and sometimes will break it up And do a couple a day till they are all done because them being In the pots after Its time to get repotted is okay! I Used For most of all my plants (i have Alocasia’s, philodendrons, and anthurium’s and A couple of cactus) foxfarm’s “ocean forest” soil and i mix in Perlite, Lecca clay balls and Orchid Bark!. for my cactus i Just use foxfarm Soil for cactus/succulents.. some are in the the Ocean forest tbh and they are Just fine! So you can Use that too if you have succulents/cactus) If your also upgrading the pot size, just 1-2 size bigger then the one It was just in! I typically dont use fertilizer But when i do its Again Foxfarms Liquid Fertilizer! They have a couple Ones you can choose from! Depending on what your looking for with your plants. everything i Use can be found on amazon! i have alot of plants and i still have half a bag of soil/Medium mixed left for more! Foxfarm’s Website has All their info on their website about their liquid fertilizers if your interested in Trying it! Its a little confusing on directions on How to use the liquid fertilizer correctly … get the cap of the Product & fill it up (the cap/lid) and put that cap full Of fertilizer into a gallon of water and mix it!. You cant burn or harm your plants with theirs because its very gentle on the plants but Works Great. You start using it after 2 weeks of the plant being in the soil!

Thank you for the soil tips, Ill need to check out Foxfarms. I do own a lot of stuff to diy my soil ( for my types of plants I keep coco coir and perlite on hand always. The plants I have : Outdoor: 3 large elephant bushes, 2 x 18in. potted bouganvilla, prickly pear cactus, 3 foot American Aloe, 2 Yucca filamentos, 3 1/2 Carribean Agave,Adenium obesum,Ficus benghalensis, several sizes of Mother of Thousands, 2 potted lemon trees ( both about 4' each) and 5 ' Queen palm. Indoor: several Jade planrs, Ghost plants, Echeveria, golden and neon pothos, several varieties Dracaena , Pachira aquatica, a very overgrown Rubbertree plant, Chlinese Evergreen, Allocasia, Donkey tail, Ponytail palm, and a Peace Lily. Im relieved my 2, 6' Corn Plants and 4' Sansevieria trifasciata weren' t inthe schedule. A pain to repot. Most of my plants outdoors are really big. (I dont plant in the ground because we rent, plus I live in Phoenix and the climate is mercilous.) I've only listed the plants due to be repotted, and as you'll notice I require several types of soil. Its due to this reason ( and the size of my plants) that I was looking for a "roadmap". Sort of tips on how to tackle this undertaking. Its always such a big job. Get Outlook for Android

Don’t water them until you do this to make it easier for your self, do it outside on your pavement or smh and repot all plants with the same soil type right after each other to not complicate things

i also think you dont have to repot them right when the app tells you to! if you know a plant need a soil refresh go for it, but check to see if others really need a repot - gently pull the plant out of the pot and see if it is healthy/rootbound. if not, i would leave it to keep growing :)

Thank you, the suggestions youve all given are great! Im starting to get a plan in my head now. I like what OG.99 said about starting with the large plants, then small. I've been repotting by soil type, and thats worked so far. Honestorchid ty for reminding me not to water first! I made that mistake last year and couldnt even move a few plants, let alone repot them lol. Im thinking of getting 3 cheapish large lidded tubs. Then make up the 3 different soil types I need - adjusting this or that, as I go. I agree c.cat, I think some of my super big plants like the palm and citrus trees I'll add soil to. Oh and the larger Elephant bushes. Unfortunately the app has that tickertape baiting my guilt about my overdue tasks. In my case it was repotting until I "skipped until next time" . Its now next time, lol.l.
