hi yall. a very kind neighbor trusted me with her hibiscus over the winter. i brought it in about a 6 wks ago and have watered it once but it’s dropping a few yellowing leaves a day and has these white spots. Something’s gotta be eating it and they’ve been there for weeks. why can’t i see any bugs?

The dry leaves with spots could be low humidity. Hibiscus needs full sun 8 hours to 10 hours a day or the grow light equivalent. Leaves will yellow and drop with insufficient light. I am surprised the plant can go 6 weeks without water. It doesn’t look like it’s suffering from a low watering condition. I guess it’s slow drying soil.

    That's nuts. I water my hibiscus every 5-6 days. It's a thirsty B.
