My Prayer Plant is flowering!! Is that a good sign? Why when I google this does it say to pinch off the flowers?? I love them 😭😍

    Yes, it generally means it’s happy and getting adequate light and conditions and in a healthy environment 😁 great job!

    Not sure about this specific plant but usually when that’s the recommendation it’s because the flowers take energy from the rest of the plant growing and the whole thing can go dormant when the flowering is left to finish the cycle.

      Ok! So I guess if the flowering starts affecting the plant as a whole then maybe pinch them off at that time.. thank you!!

      The flowers and blooms on my maranta only last a day max and it naturally falls off.

    Keep them if you like them - she’s looking pretty strong and happy. They’ll dry up and then you can pinch them off.

    I never pinch my flowers off. She always pushes out more over time. Very pretty.
