My plant used to be big and beautiful. Now I can’t get any leaves to grow besides at the top of the stems, and near the bottom. What can I do to save it? I included photos of what it looked like now versus a year ago.

This problem is going to be hard to diagnose just based on the pictures. Can you say a bit more about your care routine - watering habits, how much sunlight it gets, etc? How quickly did it lose its leaves?
1 mi piaceHi! The plant was doing great and growing for about 2 years. Then it just started doing poorly, slowly, starting about a year ago. Mainly just the leaves would turn brown and then fall off. New leaves would always grow, but not stay for long/ grow very big. About a month ago, I realized there were some bugs on the leaves, treated that and they seem to be gone now. I just can’t tell if it’s too far gone or looks like it has a future. And if it does, then how to care for it to help it grow :)
2 Mi piaceAh, okay! The bugs are helpful context! It sounds to me like you already figured out the problem and fixed it. Things should get better from here! :)

1 mi piaceI was having the same problem with my raindrop Peperomia too…it lost a bunch of leaves. I gave it a good spray with isopropyl alcohol and water/mild soap. Then I moved it where it got more light, and bottom watered only until it got enough to drink. All the leaves grew back and the leaves grew in bigger. If you haven’t changed anything in its care, you could try bottom watering and moving it to where it gets more light.
2 Mi piaceThank you!! I will try both of these things 😊
