Is there a way to see old posts made by myself? I know I’ve asked something similar to this before but can’t find the post… Does anyone know when should I repot my strawberry seedlings? They seem to be growing fine but I think they’re too overcrowded and don’t want this to stunt their growth, so I’m debating repotting next week but unsure if it’s too early, I don’t want them to die🥺🌱

You could do it now but I wouldn’t go into anything bigger than they’re in now, if you have smaller plug containers I’d go with those

I don’t have any other small pot like these other than some trays, would they die if I put them in bigger pots?

Putting them in small pots to start will give the roots time to grow and the plant will do better over all. You could keep 2-3 together and transplant together when they’re older. I’d clean out the one with a lot and consider leaving them until they’re bigger. You almost want them root bound before transferring to a large pot

So where they’re too overcrowded, should I just pluck out the smallest ones and keep the healthier bigger ones so they have more chance of survival? Thank you:)

That’s what I’ve done. Just keep the 2 or 3 strongest looking ones.

Fab I’ll do this next week after I order some new small pots for when I do decide to repot them - might even try to repot any that I can save from the thinning process

Are those compostable pots? Like would they break down into the soil if you just planted the whole thing into soil, like plugs?

Yeah they’re biodegradable pots so I could plant these directly into bigger pots, my concern there though is that the seedlings are too close together, I feel like I’d have to thin them out? I’m keeping them as indoor strawberry plants as of yet so they’ll be going into a bigger pot rather than straight into soil

I wish I had advice. IF I can get my seeds to grow, I never get them past 2-3” before I burn or drown them

Maybe look through your notifications ? I’m not sure about your strawberries, sorry.

Search by topic. I found two of your posts about strawberry seedlings.
