I followed almost all the given advice and she still looks like this. As of right now I am pretty sure shes not dead due to the branches still being really strong. If theres anything I can do to make my plant look healthy again please let me know. Thank you for your time!

Probably need more info… Light? Watering? What’s the scoop on what you’re doing?

Shes about 25 cms from the window and my room gets a fair amount of lighting throughout the day. I water as often as the app tells me which is about every 5 or 6 days. When I do water, I bottom water and allow it to soak until I feel moisture about one inch down. I usually water at night so that my plants get all the sun during the day. Also after I finish watering I sit her on a towel, sink, or tub to allow it to air out a little more until the morning.

Hmm. I’m no expert. But maybe being overwatered? The apps suggestions aren’t always exactly what your plant needs. Seems like that might be too much water. Gosh. Hopefully someone else can give you some good advice. Good luck! 👍🏻😕

I too am wondering if it is overwatered bc everything else you’re doing seems good. Have you checked roots? Maybe start there to see if they’re mushy.

Rhododendrons like direct morning sunlight and bright shade the rest of the day. Being on a window sill in an east facing window or under a grow light is best. They thrive in acidic soil like roses and azaleas. So, they need acidic fertilizer labeled for those plants. Both overwatering and under watering can cause leaf drop. I’m guessing overwatering if you’re strictly following the watering notifications every 5 days without checking that the soil has dried out properly. 🪴🍀

My Chinese rose bush is the same way sadly. Slowly struggling to get her outside but it’s been so cold

That’s what I thought . Azalea plants love to bloom outside around this time that’s why it’s struggling like that. I bet if you put it outside it will bounce back so pretty

You should put it outside until the fall then bring it back in by October
