The worst part about learning something new is getting the same results over and over. Mold keeps growing in my soil, but I guess I have to learn how to fix it.

A fungicide could treat that, but if it’s happening just on the top layer of soil, you can removed the top layer and spray the remaining soil with hydrogen peroxide to kill any lingering bacteria. Pouring peroxide from the bottle over the top of the soil would also be effective. Mold can happen if the soil isn’t well-draining, you’re overwatering, or if the conditions are too humid. Hope this helps!
9 Me gustaJust had to explain this to my coworker about one of her bigger pots. Too big a pot with too much dense non draining medium creates problems.

2 Me gustaThis!!! I've had to do this many times. Just make sure to dilute the peroxide, especially for young/sensitive plants!
1 me gustascrape off the top layer of soil & dust with cinnamon (no sugar!). does the trick for me
