I have a Philodendron (Birkin) I’ve had her for almost three weeks. I’ve never watered her because whenever I check the soil it’s extremely wet!!! When I purchased her, she was inside a nursery pot that sat inside a pretty decorative pot!! I just repotted her last night, only because when I picked it up to check it more thoroughly, I noticed the nursery pot was cracked all the way down on the side!!!! However, she looks a little weird to me?!?!?! I’ve repotted plants before. But this one is not sitting up right!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions or can tell what I did wrong!!!!!! Thanks in advance

So they like to be really well drained. I recommend a thick soil like orchid mix

So repot it with orchid mix or just add it in?!?!?!?

You can do like 75% orchid and the rest miracle grow but I just use full orchid mix

Once it dries a bit, I think it will perk up also!

It may be wise to put it in Terra Cotta. That way water monitoring is easier and the pot will breathe, much less chance of rot.

Thank you! That’s what I have it in! I was nervous at first of the choice, but I really do love these pots. Thanks again
