Is this an okay spot for my humidifier or should I put it up with my plants? I know some don’t like water directly on the leaves so I’m hesitant to put it right next to them, but I have mostly tropical plants! My poor maidenhair fern is super sad from the dryness of my room and my alocasia has been struggling (I think from low humidity). I have the humidifier set for 55 but it usually doesn’t get things above 45. Do I need to get another one? Any feedback/ opinions appreciated!

it’s pretty big so it looks like it will increase humidity in the area. looks fine!

When a humidifier is being used, there should be a fan running as well. I use a ceiling fan but a desktop will do.

Usually for extra humidity I’ll take some plants into the bathroom when I take longer showers so they can take advantage of it! That’s only temporary humidity but it works for me anyways, but I also live where it’s 80%-90% humidity

That a great tip! A good way to give them a little extra!

Unfortunately the winter causes lower humidity for me so I’ll utilize all the things to keep them happy:)
