Hey! I got this bulb after one of my classes and went ahead and planted it. I’m not sure what is growing. Can anyone tell me what this is haha?

I might be able to help. What did it look like before you planted it? 🪴

It looks like a gigantic acorn but with layers. So like a mix between an onion and acorn. Abt the size of a grape

Forgive me for enjoying figuring out plant puzzles. Let me know if you want me to butt out. 🙂 Could it maybe be a Crocus?

You’re totally fine 😂 I think it might be the crocus one

Or maybe an Alocasia? I have one and forgot how small the little corms are

It’s definitely bigger. I’m thinking it might be one of the crocus flowers!

I am curious and would love to find out when it becomes obvious. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested and remember??🤣 Best wishes 🪴

You’ll probably have to wait until it blooms or puts out leaves. At that stage most look very similar.
