I got this Boston fern about 3 weeks ago.. I travel a lot and watered it once a week. Came back to it being all dry and crumbly. I am assuming it didn’t have enough sunlight and I just moved it closer to the window. Any suggestions? 💚🍃

A someone explain why a couple leaves on this new owls eye I brought home are bumpy ?
So, I had bought a fungus gnat killer over a month ago along with vinegar traps. I have not seen gnats for a good 3 weeks. I was still watering my plants with it and was careful not to overwater. Even on days where there’s no sun, I would skip days but I noticed it still takes longer for my plants to dry out so now.. i think I am about to have a major gnat problem. I’ve inspected my the soil of my plants. They have the larvae and adults. A few days ago, I started bottom watering for all my plants that needed watering. But some of my plants that I had previously top watered are still damp. What do I do with those plants? I just purchased sticky traps and waiting for them to arrive. Are my plants going to die soon? Help!
I have had this dwarf Meyer lemon tree for about 7 years now. The one picture is from the end of October but it started dropping leaves in November. I figured it was from moving several hours away and thought that the leaves would come back but now it’s almost February and there hasn’t been any change. I did move it to a bigger pot and gave it some citrus fertilizer (perhaps not the best idea). I live in Pennsylvania so it stays inside most year round but I like to take it outside during the summer months. I have recently bought a plant light as well. Anyone know how I might revive this guy or if it’s still alive? Any help would be appreciated!!
Just noticed a bit of brown ends on my new golden pothos.. I haven’t watered it yet, and I’m currently at my dads house (got it while visiting, bringing it home today where it will be in around the same conditions.) and have it in a north east facing window, it gets moderate light but nothing too bright. Any advice?? Edit: I found what I think might be mealybugs??
Hey yall! I’ve had this pilea peperomia since this past Summer and she’s always been pretty happy. Recently I’ve noticed a few browning leaves every once and awhile, but I looked today and there’s a TON of browning leaves. Almost every lower leaf has some dry brown spots on it. Any idea on what’s wrong? I’m thinking maybe root rot but I barely water her at all. Has this happened to any one else/any thoughts on how to fix it? Thanks for your help!!
Hello, I got this pilea back in December and it looked so much healthier when I first bought it (the first photo). Now it’s lost a few leaves (second photo) and it hasn’t grown AT ALL! I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong with it. It lives on my windowsill, I’ve only watered it a couple of times, can anyone shed some light on what I’m doing wrong?
Hello everyone! I have a problem with my Dieffenbachia plant. It was healthy and green in November, but lately, it has started to wither and dry up even though I have been watering it every ten days. I water it whenever the top inch of soil gets dry as well. I am not sure if it's dying or if there is a chance of recovery. Should I cut off the dried leaves and wait for them to recover in the spring?
Anyone know what’s happening with this plant? It keeps popping leaves but they are dying. This is what the leaf looks like. It’s gotta be a pest.
Hello! I have a Dumb Cane (Dieffenbachia) and recently there have been yellow spots coming out around the leaves and new leaves are curling inwards. The soil is still wet (I water it every Friday) so I don’t know what’s going on :( help please!
My pilea keeps getting brown spots on some of its leaves. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?
The brown on the leaves is slowly growing. What can I do to fix it? What’s wrong with my plant?
Help! I got this plant for Christmas and a couple of the leaves had brown on them. I thought I was over watering it, but I’ve been waiting to water and it’s still not getting any better. Any ideas?
My bird of paradise (white) got crown rot will it still grow leaves?
I have a Dracena that has gotten dry brown spots on the leafs, almost looks like it’s molding. I followed care instructions that come with the plant. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or it the plant is doomed. If there’s a remedy please help me!
Help! I inherited this massive parlor palm recently and I’ve pretty much left it alone since. Its size alone is super daunting. Recently noticed these yellowing spots under the leaves. I’ve checked for pests but nothing more than the odd gnat. Overwatering / underwatering ?
Hello lovelies Can anybody give me some pointers for my bird of paradise plant? The app suggested to repot and get more light, which I’ve done about 3 days ago… Thank you (I feel like I’m forever a newbie with some plants…)
I am in desperate need for help identifying and treating a pest. I can’t even get a photo of the larvae because they’re too small for the camera to pick up, even when using a magnifying glass. Here’s what I know: -They arrived about 6 months ago the first time, unknown vector but perhaps a sweet potato vine -small, somewhat pointy and yellow/orange larvae that turn into small yellowish/pale winged insects -eat and destroy the leaves of the plants, seem to effect my philodendron the most -I thought they were eradicated after I treated with insecticide soap and neem oil, bagged and waited for a month to not see any more of them -now they’re back, after all this time. My pink princess is getting hit hard I don’t know how to treat because I can’t figure out the insect, but this seems like an extremely long incubation time. I thought maybe thrips but this is too long for them. Please help! I’m about to just chop up or give up on my pink princess and she’s about 3 ft tall now.
My mini monstera isn’t looking so hot these days and not sure where to start to save it. Any tips?
Help! My girlfriend got me this ficus triangularis for Christmas and since I’ve had it it’s been dropping leaves like it’s a competition. It’s still in its original pot so I’m thinking maybe the soil was hydrophobic or not well aerated and top watering wasn’t giving it enough water down to the roots. Just bottom watered it 4 days ago and it’s still dying faster than ever. I have about 12 plants in the exact location of this plant and they are all thriving but this guy just doesn’t have the will to live. Any suggestions? It’s in a south facing window currently and it gets checked for watering once a week, has been getting watered when soil is dry about halfway. The leaves that do fall get these brown dots but none of the leaves have them while alive… only after they fall.
