does anyone know what this spot on my african violet is? the plant overall is super happy and producing new buds, so i'm assuming it's a water spot but i'm not sure

Hello! I’m new to planta and i have a question/ concern about my monstera thai constellation that i recently purchased. I bought it about a week ago and it came with a couple brown spots and a tiny bit of yellowing on one of the smaller leaves, i’m a little worried about it because i heard these plants are notorious for root rot. Does anyone have any tips on what to do or how to fix it? Or any recommendations for taking care of it? I’m using a chunky aroid mix and it’s in a clear pot with drainage holes, i checked up on the roots and they seem to be doing really well, except for one little root that was rotted, i chopped it off and now every other root is healthy.

Left the plant (Gloria) with my fiancée’s mother because she offered to repot it while I was at work. I came by a few days later and the plant was on the ground and was in the condition pictures below. Previously the plant was rooted in essentially a straight line, now there’s a massive gap through the middle with what looks like exposed roots. Just wondering what may have happened and if it’s possible to remedy the problem.

Here’s my moms snake plant she forgot about for about a year. It has some white spots on it, I’m unsure of what it could be, I also noticed some leaves curling as well.

I have a Monstera Deliciosa and it has 4 leaves total. One leaf is curling and the tips are browning. The smallest leaf is yellowing. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you.

Does anyone have experience with the Peperomia Grey Luna (Caperata)? I want to believe it’s happy and healthy, it has almost doubled in size. But the stamen? Antennae? Have grown extremely long, one is 5 inches long and it kind of freaks me out. I didn’t know I was going to have to deal with tentacles. If a plant were an alien. It has never gone so dry it begins to limp. And it has grows lights with a slight shade cover for at least 16 hours a day.

Some weird things have been happening with my anthurium, please help! 1. Some of the leaves have started to have little discolored dots on them with brown pinpricks in the middle. 2. Some of the leaves have little lines on them with a bit of a white scaly texture in them, and on some of the leaves the lines have opened up — either slightly or completely. 3. One of the leaves has a weird ‘bite mark’ on it. I’ll add picture in order:

My Hoya Carnosa came down with Mealy Bugs 😞 thankfully DIDNT see it on any other plants. Will start treating

Ok tell me about tiny little white bugs! I am new-ish to the houseplant world and I have 2 different plants that have these tiny little seemingly-white bugs in the soil. They’re easy to miss, and seem to move when I water them or poke at the soil. I’ve seen a couple jump. Hard to get a clear photo. Also the plants don’t show any signs of damage at all. I’ve done some googling but would love insights. Thanks!

Is this early thrips? Noticed my ivy has a couple deformed leaves, one looks chewed. I’ve had this guy for a couple weeks. I did notice one pest actually moving under a leaf. My eyes aren’t the best right now but it didn’t look long and thin like thrips. Nothing else moved, no other plants are seemingly affected. Thoughts?

I’m not sure what is wrong with this guy, he’s on a regular watering schedule and is not in direct sunlight. Any ideas?

My rex begonia was doing so well and all a sudden all the leaves died…besides one🥲💔 Anyone know why this happened? Have any recommendations for me?

Good morning smart people! Anyone know what to do about a Phalanopsis spike curling back into the stem?

My birds nest fern had dry, crispy ends to it’s leaves. I keep the soil moist and mist regularly. Is there something that could be causing this that I should treat or it is just my cats biting the leaves?

I got this Jelly Bean about a year ago at a farmers market. It was maybe 1” tall when I got it and was in a 5” pot with 7 other plants that shouldn’t have been together so I separated them. Anyways, I’ve seen pictures of the Jelly Bean having beautiful red tips but mine is so faded and has barely grown in a year. Is there anything I should be doing to help this guy?
