I was gifted a polka dot begonia and I have been taking care of it for some time now but, for some reason every leaf that comes out keeps falling off a few days after it fully unravels. I donât know what Iâm doing wrong. there is also about 4 different leaves that are starting to grow out but stoped progressing on the growth.
My Zinnias started looking horrible past two days. Looks like some kinda bug problem. đ©đ©đ© Any advice to try to save it?
This is my Norfolk Island pine and I got her awhile ago but just realized that her lower branches are painted green! So it is not a big surprise they are dying is there anything I can do to help her? And once the branches die and fall off will lower branches grow back?
Anyone know whatâs going on with this guy? Heâs a Hawaiian Ti plant and this just started happening a few days ago!
My neighbor gifted me this baby elephant ear that was outdoors in her garden. It had not been repotted yet, I potted it myself yesterday. The 2ndpic is the biggest leaf, looking immaculate, texture is supple and elastic as per normal. The 1st pic is of the 2nd leaf, which is a bit smaller. It already had those little holes in it but the texture was the same as the bigger one, but when I woke up today the edges has dried slightly and itâs just not looking too good. Is it from the shock of transplanting? Should I prune or just let it die off? I just donât want to do anything to prevent this baby from thriving!
Omg heeellllpppp. The owner of my local plant shop gifted me a cutting from this beautiful looking glass begonia. The mother plant has survived in a small glass vase for roughly 15 years, completely happy and healthy to the point where the owner didnât even want to repot her. I put this clipping in a bowl of leca, havenât done anything else to her. Sheâs under artificial light just like she was in the shop. What can I do to help her???? Iâll die if she dies.
Hey all. Has anyone (in Canada) ever used Safers 3 in 1 successfully for thrips on a miniature umbrella tree? These thrips are so small that they are hard to distinguish between bug and dirt. The leaves are still wonky though and itâs not growing much.

Iâm really struggling with my Zebra plant. Got it 10 months ago and was full of leaves with its yellow flower in bloom. Ever since, the leaves have been wilting, falling off and the new growth is weak. Itâs in a 60% humidity zone, partial light and I follow the Planta watering schedule. Iâve replanted it from itâs nursing pot about 6 months ago as well. It also has drainage and I water it from the bottom once every 2 times. Iâve tried Dr Planta with no real results. Can someone help me out?
I just transplanted brussel sprouts from an aerogarden 6pod unit to a raised garden bed. The leaves turned soft as silk and one dried out complete. What am i doing wrong? Its watered everyday moderate amounts to keep soil moist. Been 4-5 days since transplanting. Does it need fertilizer?

Why are my monstera aurea leaves turning brown. It is over a year old nothing has changed and is constantly giving new leaves. I have a Thai right next to it who is thriving. Anyone help!
Why is the new growth curling? My dear Pileaâs new growth is curling up and I donât know why. The leaves are very healthy but are just not opening up flat. I canât think of what would cause this, any ideas?
ADVICE needed! Pilea Peperomioides Friendship Plant ~ Leaf Damage ~ Iâm very new to plants and recently brought home my first two Friendship plants. They were in small Terracotta pots and needed a new home so I transplanted them a few days ago. The one I transplanted first is showing these strange, dark patches in the leaves. Iâm thinking I was too rough trying to get the dirt out of their roots and didnât take enough care to protect her leaves? I also sprayed her with All Seasons Horticultural Spray Oil- could that be the culprit? The directions only said spray all over- but didnât specify anything about diluting so I figured I didnât have to? My Money Plant was sprayed with the same thing and does not show these injuries. What do these discolorations on her leaves look like to you? Anything I can/should do? I transplanted the other Pilea today, did not mess with the roots much to try and get the old dirt off. I just moved it to the other pot trying to avoid being rough. I did not spray the oil onto it either for fear it was the reason the leaves are discolored. I want to learn from this while also trying to heal my new plant. Iâve not had her long, but the spots are new.
Springtails ⊠yay or nah??
Battling a scale infestation on my Pyrrosia fern. I always thought that the scale was a single insect until I put it under my microscope. Apparently the adults become immobile and create this protective scale to lay their eggs under. The new generation hatches and leave when they are old enough to find their own location to become a âscaleâ and start the process again. Iâm sorry for how gross this is đ.
