2 of the 4 Hibiscus I have came down with a bad aphid infestation. We’ve introduced lady bugs and used Neem oil to treat, but there are still signs of the pests. As the temperatures begin to drop in NJ the plants need to be moved inside soon. Any advice on how to get these pest taken care of so they don’t spread to my other indoor plants? Should we just prune them since we’re running out of time for remedying with treatments?

whats going on with my polly elephant ear? the biggest leaf is the newest one and it has no yellow, but the leaves that were there when i got the plant are yellowing. have i done something wrong?

Spider plant people, help? I just groomed all the dead leaves out of this baby. These 3 fluffy babies were crammed into a 4” pot. I put them into a 12” pot. The watering sked planta has us on- the soil is dry to the bottom. Do they really like this dry? I wonder if it shouldn’t be in a more humid room?? Or maybe she’s too close to the grow light?

It might not be super obvious in this picture but 1/4 stems my Money Tree has, the one pictured in the front of the plant is very soft and bubbled up. According to some quick research it is due to overwatering but I’ve been following recommendations Plantar has given me. Can I still save this Money Tree by cutting the only stem that is rotting?

I’m so sad! I bought this plant 9/16/23 and now all the leaves are falling. My plant is slowly deteriorating and I’m helpless.

Ok, so winter FINALLY hit last night. I waited until today when it was supposed to be in the 30’s to bring my plant inside, and when I went out to get it, this is what I saw. It was only in the high 40s so I wasn’t expecting my leaves to wilt. I brought it in to the warmth immediately. Does anybody think it will be OK? The stems are fine, my leaves are just wilted. There’s no blackening from frost. We haven’t gotten any ice yet. Any suggestions??

How it started vs how it’s going. 😭 My first begonia, and she got powdery mildew and dropped all her leaves in the first 2 weeks. Grew a new leaf and that one fell off yesterday. Not totally sure what to do here

My plants seem to have suddenly gotten infected with something white. Not sure what it is but my hibiscus plant is headed for death. It seems like other plants on my patio have gotten the same thing. I have lost one of my plants to this already. Help! I don’t want to lose the rest of the family!

I have this plant that came with a bunch of leaves in now and only has three does anyone have any ideas what I’m doing wrong

Can anyone tell me what is going wrong with my crêpe myrtle sapling? It was watered and fertilized yesterday. Is it still savable? Prior to this it was fertilized three weeks ago.

I need help my bird of paradise was reported based on this app’s recommendation and others, now the leaves have turned yellow expeditiously and the stem is brown… will she die?

I’ve got trouble in paradise 😔 This is a new leaf that took her time unfurling. I let her do her thing, no pressure. She finally started getting loose and unfurling and came down to this, this morning🥺🥺 What could have caused this? Should I have help the leaf unfurl? Do I cut it off to prevent any damage to the rest of her?

Does anyone have success with pony tail palms? Could give me a few tips? I’ve had this almost a year and every time I clean it I have to cut off a ton of dead. Mostly the tips, but some of the new growth didn’t look good this time. It isn’t in direct light. I water it whenever it drys out. My house has a humidity level of about 60+. And I use filtered water. 🤷‍♀️

Hello, I live on the Galt. I’m having trouble keeping my plants a live. Last year I got a good bloom on my calamondin tree… then after it caught the black plague and almost died. I managed to save it last minute but it lost a lot of branches… Does any one else fight the battle between plants and the salty air?
