Neglected Alocasia Sarian leaf never got better. it actually continued to whither, despite my high humidity setup. So I cut it, in case it was an infection instead. I repotted in Leca for hydro growth because I’ve been traveling a bit. And I’m going to try to do hydro for any Alocasia that comes to my care because of their special thirst. 🤞The new leaf looks healthy? 😅. But it hasn’t started a new growth yet.

So I got this to take care of spider mites and I’m pretty sure I got the wrong one… also the warning labels on this baby are disturbing. Do I need a different one to spray houseplants?

I got this Swiss cheese plant propagation for someone about a 2 weeks ago. Since then a new leaf is coming but it looks like it has rot root. Is there anything to do to help save it or get rid of the rot root. The stem did go down further and had rot root previously so I cut it off, washed it and put it back in water.

Does anybody knows what is happening to my calls lilies?
It has yellowing leaves and it’s flowers are either losing its color or shriveling :/
I’ve been waiting until the top layer is dry before watering. I’ve planted them in all purpose soil.

My Dracaena Limelight has these brown spots on it, and I don’t know why? The only window in the room faces south and it’s around 8-9 feet from the window. I water it around once a week as that’s what I heard it needs. I’m worried I’m killing it?

Why is my ric-rac cactus turning yellow? It’s in a west facing window (part sun) and I have watered it once since I got it

I have a Croton Mammy that got a small spider mite infestation. I added some Bonide systemic granules to its soil and every day I wipe down the leaves with water and then spray it with insecticidal spray. It’s been over a week and I’m still seeing a mite here and there. Is there anything else I can be doing to get rid of them or will it just take some more time?

I have two rubber trees that I got at the same time. One has grown well and the second ones growth is slow. I became suspicious that there was an issue outside of the care I was giving it. I examined the plant and I am not sure if these bumps are a pest. I currently treat my plants with Bonide granules. I keep it away from my other plants. Anyone think it’s scale? Or am I imagining things ?

So I got a lemon lime maranta (prayer plant) a few months ago. The past two weeks the leaves have been yellowing rapidly until the leaf is completely yellow and the tips curl and then turn black. I saw a single mealy bug and have been treating it with no sight of them since. It has continued to turn yellow. I took it out of the pot to see if there was a root mealy bug infestation, which their wasn’t. The soil was extremely damp at the bottom, which I took out and replaced with new soil and haven’t watered since then. I am continuing to treat for mealy bugs. My leaves are still turning yellow. I am not sure what’s wrong. Any advice or clue what could be wrong?

I saved some Caladium corms and when I checked them now in spring they have become mushy. Are they gone and no longer healthy to sow ?

Just noticed this webbing on my desert rose. Is this a pest I should be worried about or is wiping it off enough?

i have some plants that the soil is hydrophobic. any tips on how to fix this? or would the best solution be to just repot with new soil?

I don’t know if this is a bad question but I bought a Hoya that came with mealybugs. Hypothetically couldn’t I just transfer it to water & then no more bugs? Of course I would remove the soil from the pot because they lay eggs in there, then put the Hoya back. It’s just so time consuming dealing with them & even when I treat it by spraying it down with alcohol & killing the bugs they keep coming back.

I got this Geogenanthus Ciliatus about a year ago for my birthday and at first it was extremely happy. Then it started losing it’s leaves in the winter (perhaps needs more light).
I thought it was a goner but a new leaf just sprouted. Any idea what’s causing its sickness?? It receives moderate indirect light.

Anyone have experience with ponytail palms in dryer climates? This babys scraggly and dry. Tried giving it some humidity but it led to some crown rot.

What the heck happened to my string of buttons. Have had this for almost 3, probably 4 years. It’s been growing in this pot with an echeveria and haworthia for almost 2 years now and it was growing really well until I started noticing a little over 3 weeks now that its pads were sort of desiccating. Just randomly drying up like that out of nowhere. Before that, I did notice that it had these brown marks on them but figured it might have just been burn. Now the plant looks like it’s on the verge of collapse and I have no idea what suddenly happened

Does this look like thrip damage? I also see some tiny white specks that might be eggs?
