Hi! Does anyone know what these fluffy white growths are on the base of my spider plant? They must be at least a cm long as there are stones in the pot for drainage and there’s one thicker shorter one and a thinner longer one.
There are the roots themselves and then these little white bits too.
The plant itself is okay, but has some black tips on the leaves, even on the new growths, but I don’t think it’s under watered?
Thank you so much! x

In need of some serious help! My boyfriend was taking care of my plant when I moved to a new apartment (for about 2 weeks) and its been slowly getting worse :( i had to cut off almost 10 leaves, and some of the current ones are brown and crisp. The stems also have brown on them when they never have before
Any advice is welcome. Please, i want to save my chinese evergreen!! Thanks !

Hi everyone
My Chinese money plant isn’t doing too well. It has lost almost all of its leaves. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Is it overwatering? Or is it too much light?

My rubber plant is looking sad and droopy. I just moved it to an area with more light a few days ago but it has still not perked up. The soil is a bit dry but I know these plants like to dry up between waterings. Anyone know why it’s drooping?

This plant hates me, gets droopy cause soil too dry, waters soil every three days cause it eats up the water too quickly, gets sad and leaves start going wet from too much water. THEN TO FINISH ME OFF IT COMPLAINS THAT THERES TOO LITTLE HUMIDITY! I just repot it into a wider but not deeper pot with different soil so hopefully this clears up? I haven’t watered it after the repot cause I’m afraid it’ll feel overwatered again ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Hey everyone!
I’m brand new to being able to keep plants alive. Thanks to this app I’ve actually had some plants for over a year!!!
Now my question. Why do my plants start dying if they aren’t directly in a window? I have golden pothos that a girl at work has in the corner not near a window and hers is growing beautifully. I put mine in my living room away from windows but still having natural light and it lost soooo many leaves. Now it’s in my window again and it’s flourishing! But I don’t want all of my plants in the window, I would like to be able to spread them out.
Help!!

Made a post a few days ago on this guy and the yellowing is getting worse. I have had my dehumidifier off for a few days now and my room humidity is 70%+ (the reason I use a dehumidifier.) now. It’s like four feet from a window. I have only just watered it again since I got it about two or so weeks ago. so I’m starting to think this is underwatering. I let it dry out a ton. The mix it came with seems pretty chunky and ariated so maybe I need to be less afraid of watering. It did get a good watering today.
Ideas?

What should I do with my monstera? I'm getting quite a few yellowing leaves, all seem to be newer growth close to the bottom. And SO MANY of these roots reaching out (I can't recall the proper term) what should i be doing next to help it thrive? I currently water & fertilize and I don't do much else. Thanks 😊

Hi plant friends,
Does anyone know what this is on my Silver Bay? I found it while cleaning its leaves. It’s textured and definitely isn’t part of the leaf pattern, but it doesn’t rub off easily. It’s only on this one leaf, which is the oldest one of this shoot. There’s no visible damage near this stuff or on the rest of the leaf. Any thoughts?

Mashimellowss
Hello, hope you are all well. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my lemongrass. I tried to get the best pictures I could have these tiny bugs.
What are they?
and if I shouldn’t let them stay around how should I take care of them?
thank you in advance 💗

My birds nest fern is growing well however some of the leaves have brown marks and spots appearing. Also the soil looks a bit like velvet, any idea whats causing these things? Is the velvety soil a problem or is it normal?

Help! Is this mould in the soil of my miniature roses? It has a fluffy dry texture. I’ve done some looking online but I can only find information on mould on rose stems and leaves but nothing about mould in the actual soil?
They are miniature roses (indoor). I water roughly every 5 days but I need to increase as I’ve noticed the soil is drying out very quickly.
Any suggestions on how to save or do they need to go? I have a beautiful bloom on one of them so I will be sad if I can’t save her :-(

HELP!!! I went to turn my precious Thai in the window and saw THIS! I noticed the edge of a leaf browning just a hair a couple weeks ago, but I thought it was a fluke. I’ve had this girl for a couple years now and have never had any issue. Why does she have brown spots????
