what do we think about my baby monstera? I just repotted him to be in a more root bound pot, with perlite. previously was in potting mix in like a 6in pot
About 2 days ago I separated and reported my peace lily into 3. They are all drooping. Any ideas as to why. Google said it can be a number of things and that if cared for properly theyâll bounce back in about a week but Iâm just worried they wonât make it. Any tips or ideas?
Hi everyone! Relatively new to houseplants here so apologies if this has been asked to death but I have these tiny yellow-ish bugs crawling about on the underside of my Monstera - and I've definitely noticed some spots of browning on the leaves also. I tried Google lens-ing but that didn't help. I've just wiped them off for now but this is the 3rd time I've noticed them coming back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :) thank youu
Hello! I bought an Audrey Ficus tree a few months ago for my office. I put into my plant app - Planta, for a watering routine. It quickly started dying and lots of leaves were falling off. I spoke to someone who had this space before us and had the same plant in the same spot and theirs was thriving. She said itâs likely overwatered and to let it dry out and then just water it with a pint glass of water once a week. Iâve been doing that and itâs been a bit better but itâs still loosing a few leaves on a weekly basis. Iâve included a photo of its most recently dropped leaf and where it is sitting (in a southwest facing window in nyc). How often and how much water should it be getting? I last watered it with a pint of water on Thursday. Soil already feels dry. Getting mixed responses on this. Any advice appreciated! Thank you!
Please help me. What happened to this monstera? Is it heal able?
Is my Albo rotting?? No odors yetâŠ
Hi there! Iâm a new plant mom and Iâm trying to figure out whatâs causing the brown spots on 3 of my plants. Is it pests? Should I cut the affected stems? I acquired a bunch of plants and some had been outside but they werenât brown when I got them. Any knowledge helps!(:
Iâve inherited a lovely (and huge) split leaf philodendron from my husbandâs aunt. (Sheâs moving and canât fit the plant in her new place). We moved the plant to our place on Saturday and the poor thing is in shock from the car transport. (Leaves totally droopy and looking rather sad.) I gave her some water and am doing my best to help her settle in. Should I keep waiting to see if she perks up? Or, Given that the droopy stems/leaves are so heavy, should I stake a moss pole to help support her droopy leaves and encourage her to climb upward? Sheâs never been staked (she has the thickest trunk Iâve ever seen on a philodendron) but the green stems growing from it are now very droopy. Photo below is BEFORE she was moved. I think she could use something to climb. Thoughts?
The table for this plant said it was good for comple darkness and shade, normally this room is completely dark, but I don't think that's right because it doesn't look healthy if anyone has any tips or information please comment it down below. ( i opened the window for this picture).
Hi again, you might have seen my last post (photo below). A few people helped me identify what was going on with my baby. So now I need opinions should I remove the affected leaves or should I let them stay, after I completely get rid of the problem?
Can someone please help with some advice on Dieffenbachias? I have tried so many times and this is ALWAYS the end result đ„Č

I don't know what is going on with this alocasia ninja. When I received him he looked rough but nowâŠ. If I take it out the soil and put it in water will it make it? Should I just cut that leaf off?
How do I rid of gnats in my plants without killing the plants đą
Hi everyone! My snake plant lives in my salon (tons of windows, indirect sun from about 10am-6pm every day and watering once a week and has lived in this spot for a year with 0 issues) I returned to work from a weekend away and noticed some of the big pieces had what Iâm assuming is root rot, and had fallen out of the pot onto the floor. Please help me salvage what is left of her! These are photos from last week vs. today
First time trying to propagate a fiddle leaf fig from cuttings given by a friend. Some of these roots look reddish. Is that root rot? Or is this a normal color for these plants?
Hi! Just got this plant back from a friend who watched it over the summer. Not sure what is wrong with it and would love any help! It is a bird nest fern
the bottom leaves of my kalanchoe have been falling off slowly over the past few months. I wait to water until the leaves are not as firm, and then always check to make sure the soil is completely dry. it sits in an east facing window. any idea what might be happening?
So Iâve had this âdumb caneâ plant for about 9 months now. When I first got it, it was thriving and didnât want to stop growing. It grew so big that one day I decided to repot it since it was growing so big and healthy. Well this turned out to be my big healthy plants demise. Immediately after the repotting it shed half its leaves (15 leaves in total). You can see this now as the bottom half of the plant is bare now with dead stem marks all over it. Months pass itâs still not doing well, leaves that used to shoot out and open in a single day or two are now taking a week or more to open. Lately itâs been doing ok the leaves that are there are mostly green, but thereâs still leaves dying and the new ones are opening very slowly. But now today I notice thereâs now what appears to be mushrooms growing out of the soil!!!! Im not sure what to do and it kinda of grosses me out. Should I finally give up on this once super healthy plant? I feel that it will never look like it once did. You can see the drastic difference from when it was healthy in its old pot, to today.
