Hi everyone! I need some advice. I got a plant in the mail and I really messed up not buying an extreme heat pack for it. Is there any hope for this new plant that has suffered from cold travel? Thank you in advance.. I feel sick about thisš„²
Hi, Iām a new plant mum and Iāve just noticed my Flaming Katy has this mould on top? I only water once a week (bottom water) and it seems to be thriving otherwise. Any advice is appreciated !
Hey, my plant has been trying to push this leaf out for a month but hasnāt seemed to make any progress. I worry that thereās just not enough space right there. I water her enough but I havenāt given her fertilizer in a while. Maybe thatās why? Not sure if there is anything I should be doing to help.
Iām hoping some of you plant experts can give me some ideas of what might be causing this spot on my alocasia. This plant has challenged me since day 1 but Iām determined to keep her going. Planta was not much help. It named everything. Thank you!š¤šŖ“

Looking for so help with telling what tge heck is going on with my plant!
Okay, I need help. I have a compact fiddle leaf fig and over the winter months it has lost all of its leaves. I have been still watering it sparingly. Iām not sure if it is a lost hope and I should throw it out or if there is something specific I could do to help it? Any help you may have would be greatly appreciated!
Help! I donāt know what this white scaly stuff is on my plant (Opuntia Snow- Ursine). It was just at the bottom, now itās on the whole plant. I know, I shouldāve done something sooner.
I just found mealybugs and scale on my Hoya Australis. This is my first time dealing with these suckers. I removed them with a q tip and alcohol and cleaned each individual leave. What else can I do ? How long do I need to isolate? Is neem oil effective for mealies and scale? Does diatomaceous earth work for these type of bugs? Do I need to clean her daily to avoid reinfestation? Sorry for all the questions. Any tips/ advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Iāve had this peperomia for a couple of months. I had originally potted it in the same pot as a peperomia āRussoā. This āSilver Leafā has a bunch of leaves that are a bit distorted. So I repotted it by itself, thinking maybe it didnāt like sharing space. Itās still weird looking though. I canāt see any pests. The pot has good drainage. Iām at a loss. Any ideas?
Iāve had this calathea for a couple months now, and have had a terrible time. I finally moved it to a self watering pot because I wasnāt sure if I was letting the soil dry out too quickly, but the research Iāve done said it could be a light problem too. Iāve checked for pests, and nothing. I water it with well water, which could be part of the problem. Any suggestions?
Help! My ficus Audrey is dying and I donāt know what to do. Iāve had this plant for 3 years and until recently, itās been very healthy. Over the last month, she has lost 8+ leaves from the bottom up. At first they just turn yellow and fell off. Now they are turning splotchy yellow and then getting black spots. 4 of the current leaves are healthy, and the pictures are of the 3 that arenāt. What do I do??
Is this anything to worry about? it still has some new growth but thereās a few leaves that are starting to turn this way. Should I be concerned and if so any suggestions?
I have had this Birkin Philodendron for about six weeks. It started out looking great, but this white leaf got a brown spot on it. The brown spot has grown. And now I noticed a brand new leaf that is just starting to come out has brown on it as well. I have been careful (I thought) not to overwater her. She is planted in the same pot as a lipstick plant, which seems to be doing great. What the heck is going on here? š¢ About 18 feet from a big west facing window. But grow light is on 14 hours/day. Great drainage.
I (am pretty sure) over fertilized my peace lily š« Iāve flushed the soil under the faucet for several mins and will repot her into fresh soil, but is there anything else I should do? She was doing ok before I fertilized her, a little droopy but ok.
One of my friends asked me to rehab two of her plants (golden pothos and an echeveria) because she is not a plant person at all. Her pothos was in desperate need for repotting (check), but the echeveria needs help, maybe. What does this poor guy even need? How do I get it to look like itās standard shape? TIA!! This (the picture) is how I got it. It was a 1ā succulent at least two years ago from a home improvement store, never given more soil, just a bigger container, and watered enough for it to grow this much.
How to deal with scale??
Hello, Iāve had a Florida green for a few months now and I see theirs been some sap like substance on the stems. When I google this some sites say itās natural and some say itās pests. Iāve treated it like I would my others and they are still there. Any ideas? I donāt see it on or under the leaves just the stems. Thanks in advance!
