Hello, very new plant mother here! I was recently gifted (what I now know is) a Tradescantia Nanouk. I was unsure if there was a problem with how its stems/leaves are hanging. I know it is a trailing plant, but some pictures I see online show some stems that stand more upright. I have been rotating it and it is placed near a bright window w/ a humidifier. Any tips would be greatly appreciated for this plant newbie 😅 - thanks!

Can anyone kindly help me with my (I think) creeping velvet philodendron? Got this guy a few months ago, discounted because he looks a little like he got in a fight, but has otherwise been healthy and growing steadily (three new shoots recently). Questions: How long do leaves take to uncurl? It’s been over five weeks for a few and they haven’t moved… Best way to prune? Sadly one of its biggest newer leaves died (the drooping one) and want to safely remove. Any other tips overall? 🙏

I have a couple of the bottom leaves during this. Dr Planta told me that it's probably from being overwatered. It isn't. I've never had that auto diagnose thing get any problems right. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Any ideas? PS the purple tint is because it's under a plant light.

Meet Gigi and Bello 🌿🌱 These two have been giving me a bit of a challenge lately. I tried moving one to a shadier spot and left the other in brighter light to see if light was the issue, but both still have the same symptoms. I’ve tried a few different care tweaks (watering, soil, location), but nothing seems to be working. Any advice or ideas would be much appreciated-I’m all ears!

I have two tomato plants. I’ve never had them before and up until a few days ago they were perfectly green and healthy. They get sun all day and we have had a decent amount of rain. What’s wrong with them? (Picture of each plant)

I got gifted this sunflower plant recently and have put her near to a big, South facing window. Planta recommended lots of sunlight as well as lots of water. I’ve been watering her by the Planta schedule (almost every other day in this very hot June in the UK) but she looks soooo worn out and crunchy, leaves browning still… She’s also attracting lots of flies? Any ideas on how to save her? 💚🤞

I’d read a while back about potting up a peace lily in water so thought I’d give it a go. The leaves began yellowing despite regular topping up and changing of the water, including fertiliser, so I decided to put her back in soil. She’s so wilted, I honestly think I’ve ruined her 😫 please help!!

Having issues with my pink and white princess 💔 I noticed some browning on the pink one first and then some soft spots on a new leaf and Planta said it was due to lack of sunlight. (They’re in a moss/coconut husk/soil mix and I wanter regularly, have a watering tray underneath them for humidity, as well as have a mini humidifier for them). I put them outside under a shaded tarp (I live in Arizona) for 30-45 minutes and now my leaves are so droopy and soft 💔💔 I initially suspected the humidifier was hitting the leaves directly and making them soft but Im not sure. I dont have a grow light for them but will get one soon. Ive only had these for about a month.

Help Stella! Stella lost her bloom and now her leaves are turning yellow. I just got planta so have been watering on my own schedule, about half a cup usually once a week. Stella is currently placed in a location with minimal direct light. What kind of plant is Stella? And how do you suggest I help her? Thanks for your speedy replies and support.

My peperomia has some yellowing leaves and then some that are brown and getting crispy. Overall I think she’s healthy because there are lots of little blooms but I wanted to know what you think the problem could be! I water probably once a week when the soil starts to feel dry, it has pretty good drainage, and a grow light 12 hours a day. The humidity stays at about 45%. I’m getting some new peps soon so I want to know what I could be doing wrong so I don’t kill them all lol

Heyyo👋🏻 I have this beautiful plant a neighbor gave to me. I’ve just kept it in a glass filled with water because I don’t have the urge to pot it. I was lazy for a few weeks…..and didn’t change the water but now the roots are completely covered in algae. What’s the best way to fix this? 😢

Okay uh, this is my first plant I bought online, here from Planta. Wtf is this stringy stuff they packed it with? Or are they roots? I don't want to cut something on accident but I literally can't find a way to get it off without cutting it LOL

I got this ivy a few weeks ago and it looked great, I’ve been watering it when plants tells me too. But then last week this one shoot started to wither and it looks a bit dry I don’t know if i need to cut the dead shoot off or leave it. I’ve never had a plant like this before and I’m worried it might be dying

Hi! I have a basil for last two months and recently I have started to notice aphids infestation on it. Is there anything I can do to help it/remove the issue completely? Or should I just bin it and get the new ine in the same pot?

Any of you an expert in Fern? My Fern is barely surviving. I’m not sure what happened. I water it based on Planta’s recommendation and it’s sitting by a window so it’s getting enough sunlight. Anybody knows what caused this and how I can cure it?
