My curly lipstick plant (aeschynanthus) has some pale areas on some leaves, and I have seen it slowly show up on more leaves. The plant is otherwise happy! No direct sunlight, bright indirect next to a window, custom soil mixture for epiphytes, RO water every 3 weeks or so depending on how fast the soil loses moisture. No pests! The only thing I can think of is a nutrient deficiency or a pH issue. I love this plant, don’t want to accidentally kill it. Not getting consistent diagnosis using app AI. I’ve had this plant for over a year, been in current pot for about 12 months. Any help really appreciated!

I've never been the best at keeping spider plants, and my current one is getting crispy leaves at the tips, any suggestions? I had a relative suggest moting it further from the window (was right in the windowsill, is now 5-6ft from window), but I haven't noticed any change from doing so

My poor polka dot bigonia sat in several inches of water for about 2 weeks and she hasn’t been happy since (this was about 2 months ago, she’s holding a grudge). She’s dry now and on a regular watering schedule. As you can see, there is 1 leaf. Should I trim back the other branches or is this a lost cause?

My flowers on 1 jalapeño plant are withered and falling off the plant. The leaves and stems are healthy. Any suggestions? I searched by picture but it is a jalapeño plant. Lol! I already know that.

Hey all! Put my raised beds in the greenhouse for a couple days due to high winds and I discovered these egg looking things while transporting them out of the greenhouse. I know there’s soil fungi but I’m confused because these ones aren’t fuzzy like the ones I’ve seen online. Any ideas of what this is?

Should I be concerned? I’ve never seen this before. First ficus btw. I’m talking about the spindly growths from the stalk.

Help! Found this little thing moving around in my peace lilly when I watered and gave her a trim this morning. I water about every 3 weeks when the soil is dry and she starts to droop. Pot has drainage holes but I’m scared after repotting a few months ago I went too big for pot size, going from 6in-8in so maybe soil isn’t drying out long enough. Root ball was pretty compact and root bound when I repotted

I had this peperomia for ages (7 years now) and suddenly it’s throwing a gigantic fit! A long time ago I noticed this soggy, brown leaf in one of the branches that hang down the side of the pot. I plucked it off without any strength- Actually, I touched it and it just fell off. Now I’m getting more of them and I seriously don’t know what to do. I think it may be because overwatering, but I don’t think so because I’ve only been watering it once a month (or right on schedule). Please tell me anything! I’m clueless 🙂‍↔️😒😖 My peperomia=😩😤😎🫠🤮🍂

Attn: fungus gnat sufferers! 🚨 Wanted to share a hot tip I just discovered. So you know those yellow sticky traps? Here’s a DIY nearly free alternative, two really. Two approaches, use what you have. Spray paint an empty beer can bright yellow. Smother it in Vaseline. Stick in your infested soil and voila! The gnats flock to it. No spray paint? No problem. Get you some scrap cardboard, use yellow tape and cover it, then cover that in Vaseline and stick it in. Same great results! F fungus gnats!! Good luck out there 👍

Does anyone have some advice for my shamrock? She was passed to me and already had this. I’ve since repotted, given her well draining soil, food, and she is in partial sun by a west facing window. She has more flowers than ever seen before as well. It’s just hard to tell if it keeps happening or if I have already fixed the problem due to there being so much of it.

Hi all 👋 I’m new to the app and plants in general so any help would be great. But just wondering if anyone knows what’s going on with my monstera monkey mask. I’ve got it under grow lights and on a moss pole but the leaves are starting to yellow a bit in patches and even brown a little bit, yet it just put out 3 new shoots/leaves recently. Also the white spots on the leaves r bits of moss. Ive checked there’s no bugs/pests, I’ve even changed all the soil. The images are attaches so if anyone has any clue what’s happening pls help!!🙏

What else can I do to help our Bird of Paradise in N facing patio window? I think this is the best natural light option we have for it. Would it help to rotate it out of its leaning pattern? Don’t want to stress it though? Leaves are curling (mostly away from window) despite fertilizing and watering schedule per app being followed. In Phoenix, AZ and too hot for it outside, almost died so brought it inside for past 2 years and has recovered to this - but never bloomed. Bonus cute kitty 😹📸

Is this a burn or a fungus? Recently moved out of a NW window (home for a year) to low natural light & plant lights. It was about 12” from the lights, now about 24”. Roots, growth all are solid and appear healthy. Two spots, two leaves. This is on the whitest sections of each of the leaves
