Looking for some insight as to why this happened to hopefully avoid in the future. My dad had this plant outside constantly until he gave it to me to save. As soon as I brought it home, I left it outside in an indirect sunlight area and it seemed okay but the leaves were dark and seemed a little unhappy. I was convinced it wouldnât survive. He wanted the pot back so once the weather started changing I decided to repot it and check the roots. Roots seemed fine and I even found a corm down in the soil which I removed and put in its own pot for propagation. After repotting it and moving it inside, the original leaves continued to brown but were also growing new and healthy leaves. The dark leaves in the picture are the leaves it had when he had it and the bright green ones are the new growth. Is this normal? Itâs almost an entire new plant and the old leaves are slowly dying off.

I JUST got this plant in the mail off of Etsy. Itâs been in transit for a while. Thereâs some damage on a leaf. I removed saran wrap from the soil, and was hit with the smell of root rot. How can I reverse this?
Note: there is a paper like lining around the soil that has helped keep the soil in its shape. From what I removed theres no mold.

Hey guys I need help, my alocasia is not growing, when I bought it it was fine but 2 days later I discovered the new plant leaf that was growing it was very soggy and it quickly died. I removed it and kept taking care of it but now one of the full grown leafs had also gotten soggy and it is not growing at all. So far some sturdy but Iâm scared itâs just gonna get worse as the days go by. So far Iâve had her over a month and still alive but I want it to keep growing and get better. Any tips?

Hi, I'm hoping someone has experience with this type of plant. Planta says it's a Creeping Charlie but none of the care advice seems right. I only got it because I thought it was cute. It seems like no matter what I do, the leaves and vines just get crunchy and fall off. More/less water? More/less light? Help!
P.s. it's only in that dish of water while I water it.

Help with my monstera !
Hi there!
So, Iâm not super savvy with plants but greatly rely on the app and blogs to understand it better. My monstera has been growing well and really long, well over 7 feet in length but recently noticed the older leaves starting to turn yellow like the pics.
Can someone tell me whatâs going on and what should I do? I used the Planta app to diagnose and it probably tagged it to an overwatering issue but I donât think i ever over water it.
Also suggestions on maintaining/managing this beauty is much appreciated.
Thank you.

I have lots of green healthy leafs but also a few brown and crusty ones!
Is it because I am using tap water?

Spider plants leaves have been yellowing. I thought she was in a spot with too much sun but that wasnât the case. Sheâs in a self watering pot and only water her when sheâs dry. So not consistently moist. Had to put diatomaceous earth on her soil because I had a pest problem and wanted to be cautious since she was nearby the issue. In the past her roots were growing through the bottom and now that isnât the case. Should I dump soil and give her new soil? Any help is appreciated!

Money tree is losing leaves. They are browning/yellowing and dropping. I had her tucked in this spot where she got indirect light but still a little shaded. She was doing great there and thought it might be too cold so I moved her upstairs where itâs warmer and higher humidity. Not sure whatâs going on. Put diatomaceous earth on top of soil when I had a pest issue with other plants and she was nearby. I havenât checked her roots yet. Any advice?

Have i killed my birds nest fern???
I overwatered it some weeks ago, since tipped excess water out and really minimally watered. Is the damage done? Is there any way to revive my poor diva?

Hi there, Iâve had this rubber for a long ole time now. I gave it itâs first trim this year to promote new branching and was more than happy pushing out growth through the summer in greenhouse-like porch it was living in. It always seemed to have a bit of browning on maybe a leaf or so which didnât seem to affect it much.
As the weather changed and the porch started to get really cold. It was moved once Iâd seen a larger spot than normal on one of the leaves, expecting it to improve once it had moved to the much warmer and more humid bathroom.
However, the spots persist. There are now 4 primary leaves, Iâd think, ready to be removed. After a little investigation Iâve found it could be fungal, temperature related, mites, or edema? All have different solutions for removing / leaving leaves / repotting etc
Iâm pretty certain Iâve deduced itâs not mites; I cant see white dots etc. Therefor, Iâm pretty happy to assume itâs heat / humidity related and will be moving her from her sunny bathroom window spot, but Iâm lost on whether to remove the leaves and repot or leave be until it clears once itâs in a more stable spot and if someone whos better in the know than I am on these plants in particular has a guess Iâd be really grateful. This is my first rubber, and after moving house this year, surviving that, thriving even through the summer, I just want to do the best for her now sheâs struggling in the cold :(

Finally switched Ever to hydroponic after months of constant root rot. This is my first time switching a plant from soil to water, so any pointers are greatly appreciated.

What do I do I feel like my TI plant is dying every week a new leaf is turning brown. Also when I watered it I found that a few little like bugs came out the bottom the were dead but they looked like larvae.
