I’ve had my Philodendron for more than a couple months now and it just hasn’t had much growth at all. It seems healthy enough, other than the fact it doesn’t grow. Any suggestions?
Money Mike has a few leaves that are starting to brown on the tips. Is he getting too much sunlight or is it something else?? Lots of new babies growing in so I think he's doing well otherwise.
Hi there, This is my first post 😀 I’ve had this Philodendron for years (not exactly sure what kind it is). Recently the lower leaves are browning. The plant also seems to be droopy. Do you have any ideas as to what I can do to revive this plant?
Got this big Xanadu philodendron on clearance the other day. It's been trying to push out this new leaf, but I noticed some brown and when I peeked inside I saw the majority of the leaf is wilted. Is there any I can try to save this leaf, or should I just chop it so the plant can focus its energy on new healthy leaves?
Please help I have this peace lily and it’s drooped about a month now..it’s not over or under watered I’ve placed it in a sunny area a less sunny area it has humidity and it’s not standing up..any advice..I also transplanted back in August…I don’t see any kind of pests, does it need to be separated into smaller plants? Thanks
Any idea on what's going on with this cactus? I water only when dry.
So a few of my plants have started to get this white stuff on the dirt, it almost looks like mold. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I was planning to repot them with fresh dirt if I can’t get it cleared up but figured I’d check here first to see if anyone knows how to fix it without having to repot them. Thanks😊
Black velvet suddenly withering - help! I’m down to one leaf in each
Does anyone know what's causing this? I got it a few months ago from someone and the leaves already had these spots. Every new leaf unfurls with the spots. Last pic is of the newest leaf. I check constantly for pest and theres been no signs of any so I don't think it's that but I've been treating it as precaution. It originally was in leca when I got it and wasn't sure if it wasn't liking the leca so i transfered it to soil and it's still happening. I'm lost
What do you do when your plants keep attracting many different random pests? A bunch of mine had aphid’s and now a couple have spider mites. How do I ensure the rest of mine don’t have any, and how do I (try to) permanently prevent pests?
Hi Back again with weather damage from being too cold. I bought this plant and then two days later our weather gets super cold and icy. I bought a heat pack with this cause I was told that one was just fine for this negative weather so I did that. I just received it. The heat pack was completely frozen and this plant looks like my other plants when I drove up here from Florida…. There is one stem on here that is still good. That’s still hard towards the bottom. The rest are very mushy. Do I cut them off now or do I wait since I just opened this package? Do I water the cold ass soil with warm/cold/lukewarm water very lightly or don’t water at all. I’m very annoyed lol I bought plants when I was living in Maine during the winter with no problem again this is my first time having frost damage to any plant and then I have another plant coming on the 10th and I hope to God is fine cause I’m tired of looking at these damaged ugly plants i’m used to seeing my Full green, lush plants. Sure it’s on me for ordering plants during the winter (Will be driving 1-3 hours now To the next state to buy plants & hopefully they will have plants im interested in🙄) . But I’ve never had the problem like this before I’m from Florida, but I’ve lived in colder states before multiple times. I have bought plants with the same weather like here and I’m just having problems now with these and I’m just irritated
This meyer lemon tree has been in our garage during the harsh winter. We brought it out when the temps came back up. It went in with a few blooms and came out of the garage with a ton of flowers and the bees were SWARMING it! Now we’ve noticed all these black spots. They appear to be bugs?? There are very few moving. Any advice?
Any idea what this white thing is? About a month ago I thought I had spider mites and started using insecticide spray about once a week. It started turning somewhat yellow and then this morning I found this.
I recently bought this Peperomia Rotundifolia and have very little experience keeping indoor plants. It was very small when I bought it and since alot of the leaves have falling off. It has new shoots with what looks like new sprouting on them. I’m not sure if this is normal with this plant as it is a trailing plant, or if I’m doing something wrong. Any advice is appreciated
I use bug spray stuff on my plants to get rid of the buvs but I have so many that it doesn't work any other ways????
anybody have any ideas? this guy is so fussy I’ve adjusted how often I water and no matter what I do I keep losing leaves 🥲 he was in a window but I’ve just moved him to be closer to a grow light to see if that’ll help
I’ve had this dracaena for about two weeks. It has three planted together. The smallest one is dropping all of its leaves. The other two seem fine and have not dropped any leaves. I am being mindful to not over or under water. Right now the top inch is dry and I feel damp soil below that. Plenty of drainage. I know sometimes these things just happen but any thoughts?
I was gifted a lime tree before Christmas and it has brought a few varieties of pests home with it. So far I’ve had to deal with spider mites and pretty bad scale infestation. Yesterday I spent a while scraping the scale off while rinsing it in the shower to deal with the spider mites. Today, with the soil still very wet from the shower, I noticed the soil is full of centipedes. I’ve read mixed things online, do I want to keep or get rid of the centipedes? Are they good for killing scale and fungas gnats? They gross me out but they can stay if they’re serving a purpose…
What’s wrong with my baby dracaena? I just got it about a week ago and now it’s all droopy. I watered it yesterday with tap water, but my cat has also been chewing on the leaves so that might have something to do with it.i just moved it to this spot yesterday, but it’s still droopy. Please help!
