I’ve had my calathea since august (got her as a gift) and I’ve been very worried I’ll kill her because I know how high maintenance they can be. I just noticed this sticky residue on the underside of her leaves. I got mixed results from google, some saying it’s a pest and others saying calatheas just do that? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Some of my pothos leaves are yellowing and I think this is a root growing outside of the soil??? Is this pot too small? It’s a single vine

Help! I have an Asparagus Fern and a small air plant, the air plant seems to be dying and the asparagus fern just isn't getting better. I don't know what I'm over or under watering, or if they're too close to the humidifier.

Hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone can help me with my lasagna fern. I got it for two months and only see it growing worse over the time. Initially I thought it might be underwatering with a scheduled watering cycle , so I repotted it with a self watering pot three weeks ago. However it seems not helping it at all, so now I am going to try to let the soil dry before the next watering. Any tips would be appreciated!

hi everyone! i’m a rather new plant parent and i got this red prayer plant not too long ago (maybe 2 months?). it’s honestly been doing pretty great! it unfurls new leaves pretty regularly, but i can’t help noticing the a lot of the leaves’ edges are wrinkly and some are browned. there’s really no other issues i can see. i often put it outside when it’s warm enough to get better light (not in direct light of course). i just really want this plant to thrive! a parent shouldn’t have favorites… but this one is my fave🥺

Hey plant people, I have some questions I’m hoping someone may give some insight on? I bought this pictured pink princess from a little boutique around Mother’s Day this year. It was in the “second chance” area, meaning it had almost died but they were able to revive it enough for hope lol the first picture is the day I bought it, the last 2 are from today. There hasn’t been much change except a couple new leaves at the top. Another one is about to open up so I’m hopeful! But part of me is worried there is too much distance between the roots and the top and it may be having a hard time getting enough nutrients to thrive. Any advice? Please and thank you!

Hello, I have a problem, I just got a monstera (couple of weeks ago), and it has started going lower and lower. Some of the edges of the leaves are getting brown. I understand it can be due to stress to a new place, but I want to make sure, it’s not a position issue. It’s 1m away from a big window, it’s facing north and I am misting every 3 days..

My mango tree has these crispy leaves. Is it from being overwatered, fungus, or pest?

This little guy suddenly started developing these patches and started dropping leaves - is this a fungus or pest of some sort or is it stroppy because it doesn’t like where it is placed?

Just brought this plant off someone who really needed to get rid of it because they are moving. Only had the monstera for a week but a few of her leaves are starting to yellow on the outside of the leaves I only watered when I first got it but that’s been over a week. Now wondering if there is something I can do or am doing wrong which is why it’s yellowing. I have a grow light coming just in case it’s not enough light on it.

my entire collection of 30+ plants have been infested with thrips. i got engaged and adopted a stray cat so i looked away for a week 😭 i’m treating with neem oil right now and i’m hoping it’ll knock them on the head, but for the future im considering using helpful pests to get them before they get out of hand (probably swirskii) has anyone done this before, if so does anyone know the best place to purchase them? (UK) a picture of my ring because HUH?!

This is one of my mom’s friend’s monstera.
When I got it I the pot had no drainage, old soil, No support, and was completely horizontal.
I got it on a moss pole to my best ability and it’s been about 3 weeks. It looks a little better and i think it is trying to push out a new leaf but do you guys have tips to get the older leaves to not be so droopy?

Hello, I was at my mom’s today and she asked me to scan and see what her plant is. App says parlor palm but I also noticed browning on the leaves. She recently moved it out of her sunroom because it was struggling. Any ideas and suggestions to heal it?
