Finally switched Ever to hydroponic after months of constant root rot. This is my first time switching a plant from soil to water, so any pointers are greatly appreciated.

What do I do I feel like my TI plant is dying every week a new leaf is turning brown. Also when I watered it I found that a few little like bugs came out the bottom the were dead but they looked like larvae.

My Alocasia dragon scale has been very unhappy and has started to kill off leaves. Suspecting overwatering, but unsure if I should do anything in the meantime to help it out. It’s potted in coconut coir/ potting soil mix for drainage, and doesn’t get much direct sunlight (all my windows are SW facing, but blocked by taller buildings). Any suggestions? Tips? Thanks!

GNATS! I woke up and discovered that gnats, amd what looks like some white mold, have invaded one pf my cactus combos. Worried that they are using this plant to lat eggs. Any suggestions?

So I was hoping this would disappear on its own, but my peach tree is visibly sick and has been producing less peaches the last two seasons. Can someone help me and advise me on what to do about this? I live in central Florida if that helps.

Hiya everyone! I come to the plant council for advice. I want to be able to periodically mist & wipe my plants with a solution of water & neem oil, to keep the pests at bay and generally just keep the leaves clean. I heard conflicting things about using regular dish soap as an emulsifier? Will it be too harsh on the leaves if used a few times a month? Should I give it a go or go buy Castile soap for the mixture? Thank you!!🌿

What does all this look like to you? Over water or pest issue?

Can anyone help me with my Thai constellation monstera? I repotted to a chunky aroid mix on 11/20 and it seems to be drying out normally and no root rot. She is near an east window with grow lights amongst other plants and a humidifier.

This is a last ditch effort but my prayer plant was doing well up until 3ish weeks ago and has gradually gotten worse :(. My mom and I thought it could be a pest so I did try neem oil (I previously had troubles when I first got the plant from my mom and the neem oil took care of it). However this time the neem oil almost seemed to make it so much worse. Not sure if there's even anything I can do at this point, or even what the problem is. I water it when my water meter says it's dry but I'm worried that it's maybe somehow overwatered still, because that did happen to another plant of mine. Any advice would be appreciated, or if any of you think I should just cut my losses and toss him out, I can take it. Some extra info: this photo was taken Dec. 12th and it had been recently watered (I believe it was last Wednesday 12.3 or Thursday 12.4).

‼️Fair warning ‼️ Even when you think the plastic pots you have purchased have enough drainage…. Think again! Always add more or make the existing ones larger. 🥴 Root rot, send positive vibes for Adam to survive.

Hi guys, I started a mini greenhouse about 2-3 months ago however I feel like the plants that I keep in here have had stagnant growth and if they do shoot out leaves, they turn black. My water propagations turn out great though. I’m thinking it’s the soil moisture, but I’m not sure. (You may not be able to tell but the baby shoot kinda gave up on me on the last photo)

Hi everyone! I’m a total plant newbie and I’ve just rescued a spider plant from the supermarket. The poor thing looked like it had seen some things… definitely not their finest display plant. 😅 I picked it up anyway because I’m building my little plant collection one slightly traumatised supermarket plant at a time. Any tips on how to care for it, revive it, or stop it from judging me would be massively appreciated! 🌿🕷️💚

Hello all, I am in need of assistance with my tradescantia nanouk. I've had her for about 2 years now and she used to be in my kitchen as it's the only place that gets a lot of light but no way of getting her the right humidity that she needs. I have moved her into my room now she have a consistent humidity but less sun. The leaves brown and get flakey, she is very leggy and very sparse. Please help me save Lady! She was a birthday present from my mom and I love her dearly! 😭

I was gifted a poinsettia for Christmas and it is not doing so well. It has droopy yellowing leaves and is not pushing out new growth. I water it when the top inch of soil is dry and it is in a moderately sunny spot. Any advice?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice with my Peace Lily. I’m a complete newbie to plant keeping, and I’m slowly building up my collection. I currently have a snake plant, a yucca plant, a mini Swiss cheese plant, and three anthuriums. Most of them seem to be doing fine, but my Peace Lily has me a bit confused. I recently gave it a dose of liquid fertiliser as recommended by my local garden centre, but shortly afterwards the plant started to droop quite a lot. Since then, I’ve rinsed the roots thoroughly with dechlorinated water and repotted it into fresh soil. I placed it near a window for about a week and have only watered it lightly. What’s strange is that I have another Peace Lily thriving with its roots sitting in the sump of my aquarium, so I’m not sure why this one is struggling. Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks 😊
