what is going on with my alocasia!? ever since i got it like almost a year ago now she’s only ever had 2 leaves at a time and her new leaves within days do this. we have a fly infestation like actual flies not gnats, but she has been doing this ever since i brought her home to my old house even, does anyone recognize this or know what to do? she never put out new leaves until i got her a humidifier, which was my mistake but i’ve seen others and know that she has something wrong. i water when the top 2-3 inches are dry, as im afraid to give her root rot bc she came home from the store with the beginning stages. she’s been in this pot since she came home i repotted her into this one, her root system fit nicely but not too snug. maybe i should repot and check the roots out? she did go dormant for the winter and give me this leaf only about 2 weeks ago. i swear she has enough humidity but maybe not?? she also always grows her leaves with a curve and i’ve never seen that before. is there a reason or has anyone else found this on theirs? pics with damage are from today and other one is from when she finished opening on march 1

I have a peperomia jelly plant here and was so curious what these shoot stem looking things are? 3 of them grew and after about 2 months they just fell off on their own. I was hopeful it would be a flower but now I’m stumped and so curious for an answer !!

I need help! I recently got a philodendron pink princess and it’s leaves are suddenly getting holes and being torn apart. I have looked and I do not see any pests so it may have been my puppy that did it 🄲 is it going to be ok? What can I do to help the plant?

Can someone tell me what these white patches are on my snake plant? I rescued it from Lowes and it looks pretty healthy otherwise despite some physical damage.

I don’t know whether to be worried…. Right pic is right after I repotted him (waited a couple weeks after buying from a Home Depot). So green and luscious! Left pic is from today. Can’t remember whether the pale leaves started happening before or after I put him outside. I moved him to a spot that gets more indirect sun a couple days ago. I was scheduled to water him today but decided against it; feels like maybe I’m overwatering? Or maybe the pot he’s in is too big and the soil isn’t drying out properly? šŸ˜”He’s still pretty but I like him so much I don’t want him to die!!

May be at the end of the pest and problems with my Chinese Evergreen. She’s been repotted, watered, snipped, treated with neem oil, given a fair amount of indirect light and I finally have new growth. Now I’m wondering, if these leaves are fairly translucent or poor quality - where am I going wrong? I’m going to buy a humidifier since I live in quite a dry space. I’m currently misting the leaves every 3 or 4 days with lukewarm water.

A before and after lol … i seem to have no luck with pothos plants and i’m getting frustrated 🤣 i really don’t know what i’m doing wrong?? its suddenly got really droopy and sad looking and, even with a few new leaves on the way, it just makes me sad to look at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have a suggestion as to why my snake plant is yellowing? I bought it off of Facebook marketplace about two months ago and I’ve only watered it once since I’ve got it. It’s actually yellowing quite rapidly. Any help appreciated!

My coffee arabica plant leaves have been browning ever since I got it. It’s always the oldest leaves that brown while new ones are growing. Usually one or two leaves at a time start out with a couple brown spots which and then turn completely brown over a couple weeks and then fall off. Is this a problem or is this a natural process? My plant is in a really sunny spot but about 4 feet from the windows, so it only gets direct sunlight for a couple hours. I water it when the soil dries about twice a week (as recommended from the person I bought it from). I’ve also tried moving it to a shadier spot but the leaves stop growing and seems less happy overall.
